The official distributor of the Geely brand in the country also soft-started two other distributors: Geely Aseana in Paranaque and Geely Angeles in Pampanga.

These distributors are Geely’s third and fourth branches in Visayas and Mindanao. They are operated by the SGAP distributor Gateway Group of Companies. The group opened Geely Lipa in December 2020, and in January 2021 Geely Cebu opened with other brands. His network goes to Luzon.

Markane Goho, President of Gateway Group, is optimistic about the Geely brand and prompted them to apply for other available franchise destinations.

Geely continues to develop production, expand its product range, and improve product quality by acquiring Western companies and cooperating with foreign technology innovation companies. The most prominent example of such cooperation is the development of low-cost electric and hybrid vehicles. The Smart brand cooperates with Daimler AG and the Volvo Car Group under Geely to develop internal combustion engines. Since 2010, Geely has also acquired Malaysian car company Proton, British car brand Lotus and American brand Personal Transport.

Geely now has 13 operational dealerships with the opening Geely Angeles and Geely Aseana.
